3-2-8: INSPECTION; RIGHT OF ENTRY; POSTING OF LICENSE:
Every person to whom a license shall be granted to sell, barter, trade or dispose of beer, wine or liquor shall at all times conduct a quiet and orderly place of business which shall be open to the inspection at all times of any police officer or officer of the United States, and that the said persons, or either of them, shall have the right at any and all times to make an examination of the licensed premises to ascertain if the licensee of such premises is conforming to the provisions of this chapter, the laws of the state, or the laws of the United States applicable thereto, and to check the alcoholic content of any beer, wine or liquor kept on the premises; all permits or licenses shall be so posted during the full period for which the license is issued, and the licenses shall not be sold, transferred or assigned without the consent of the city council.
