3-2-2: DEFINITIONS:
For the purposes of this chapter:
 
BEER:
Any beverage obtained by the alcoholic fermentation of an infusion or decoction of barley, malt and/or other ingredients in drinkable water.
LIQUOR:
Any beverage which contains alcohol obtained by distillation mixed with drinkable water and other substances in solution, including, but not limited to, brandy, rum, whiskey and gin. Also included in this definition is the product of distillation of any fermented liquor, rectified either once or more often, whatever may be the origin thereof, or synthetic ethyl alcohol.
PERSON:
Means and includes any individual, partnership, corporation, organization or association.
RETAILER:
Any person engaged in the sale or distribution of beer to the consumer.
WINE:
Any alcohol beverage obtained by the fermentation of the natural sugar content of fruits (grapes, apples, etc.) or other agricultural products containing sugar (honey, milk, etc.). (Ord. 628, 6-1-2021)
