A. Adoption By Reference: The national electrical code, the most current edition, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, is hereby adopted as and for the electrical code for the city, with like force and effect as if recited at length herein. The most current edition of the national electrical code published by the National Fire Protection Association, as now or hereinafter amended, is adopted as the official electrical code of the city, together with all subsequent editions of said code.
B. Conflicts: All provisions of the national electrical code, the most current edition, in conflict with any ordinances or parts of ordinances of the city are hereby repealed, and this code shall preempt over any provisions of the national electrical code in conflict therewith.
