4-6-5: RULES, REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
   A.   Hours Permitted: Burning is permitted only during the hours of eight o'clock (8:00) A.M., to eight o'clock (8:00) P.M. Fires must be out by eight o'clock (8:00) P.M.
   B.   Attendance By Adult: An adult must constantly attend the fire.
   C.   Prohibited Materials: Burning of household waste or trash, scrap lumber or anything other than the allowed materials listed in section 4-6-4 of this chapter is not permitted.
   D.   Pollution: Burning of materials that cause a dense smoke or odor, such as tires or lawn clippings, is not permitted.
   E.   Safety Precautions: The following safety precautions must be followed: Have a water hose, fire extinguisher or other appropriate water source available.
   F.   Distance To Structures: The fire must be kept a minimum of fifty feet (50') from any structures.
   G.   Windy Conditions: Burning when windy conditions could cause the fire to get out of control is prohibited.
   H.   Payment Of Previous Fines Or Penalties: All previous fines and penalties for uncontrolled or unpermitted burns must be paid before new permits will be issued.
   I.   County Residents Outside Of Designated Burn Window: Farmers and citizens living in the county who desire a permit outside of the designated burn window must contact the Emery County fire warden to obtain a burn permit.
   J.   Permission Of Property Owner: If the applicant does not own the subject property, permission in writing must be granted by the property owner before the permit will be issued. (Ord. 2003-7, 10-9-2003)
