§ 97.99 PENALTY.

Operating an alarm system without a valid permit is a violation of this chapter and, upon conviction, may be punishable by a fine not to exceed $500. Each day that the violation continues constitutes a separate offense. It is an affirmative defense to prosecution that the violator obtained an alarm permit prior to any court appearance for the violation.
