No person shall remove, alter, damage, or otherwise tamper with a trap set out by the Animal Control Officer or any of his or her equipment. Any unauthorized person who removes, alters, damages, or otherwise tampers with a trap set out by the Animal Control Officer shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction be fined not less than $100 and not more than $2,000.
