(A) It shall be the duty of the Animal Control Officer to administer and enforce all state laws and regulations and city ordinances, which regulate animals. The Animal Control Officer shall supervise the operation of the city animal shelter.
(B) The Animal Control Officer shall monthly render to the City Manager a full statement of all dogs and cats received into the pound during the month, showing the name of the owner, if known, the date when received, a description of all of the dogs and cats redeemed and the date of redemption, a description of all of those sold and the date of sale, and of all those destroyed, and all of the monies expended by him or her during the month for the maintenance of such pound.
