In connection with the 1992 HOME Program, the following general procedures make full use of available and appropriate public and private sector local resources hereby establish:
(A) The city shall attempt to coordinate with other state and federal agencies to develop a systematic method for identifying and maintaining an inventory of verified minority and woman owned business enterprises, and their capabilities, service, supplies, or products;
(B) The City Secretary shall have oversight responsibilities for the minority and woman business outreach program;
(C) The city shall attempt to utilize the local media to market and promote contract and business opportunities for minority and woman owned businesses;
(D) The city shall attempt to develop informational and documentary materials on contract and subcontract opportunities for minority and woman owned businesses;
(E) The city shall attempt to develop procurement procedures that facilitate opportunities for minority and woman owned businesses;
(F) The city shall sponsor business opportunity related meetings and conferences; and
(G) The city shall maintain records and statistical data on participation by minority and woman owned businesses.
