§ 32.22 EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICES; FEES.
   The following charges shall be billed to any person transported by ambulance owned or leased by the city.
   (A)   The base charge for an ambulance transportation shall be as set forth in the fee ordinance adopted by City Council, plus a fee per mile, as set by City Council ordinance, from the incident location to the nearest medical facility that is able to appropriately care for the transported person or to the medical facility requested by the transported person.
   (B)   In addition to the base rate, the transported person shall be charged for the following emergency medical services, if supplied to that person, in accordance with the fee ordinance adopted by City Council:
      (1)   For the administration of oxygen;
      (2)   For use of EKG;
      (3)   For IV set-up;
      (4)   For advanced airway;
      (5)   If supplies are used at the incident location and the person to be transported refuses transport; and
      (6)   A fee for each medication administered to the transported person which will be billed based on a price schedule and may be reviewed and amended at the beginning of each budget year.
