§ 31.04 QUALIFICATIONS.
   An individual appointed to serve as a municipal court judge shall:
   (A)   Be a resident of this state;
   (B)   Be a citizen of the United States;
   (C)   Be a licensed attorney in good standing; and
   (D)   Have 2 or more years of experience in the practice of law in this state.
