§ 53.23 INDIVIDUAL WASTEWATER DISPOSAL.
   (A)   Where public sanitary sewer is not available, the building shall be connected to an individual wastewater disposal system complying with the provisions of the code.
   (B)   At the time as a public sewer becomes available to a property served by an individual wastewater disposal system, a direct connection shall be made to the public sewer, and any septic tanks, cesspools and similar individual wastewater disposal facilities shall be abandoned and filled with suitable material at the owner’s expense. As a prerequisite to new sewer connections, adequate reserve capacity in the sewers and at the treatment plant shall exist for the new users.
