§ 33.09 USE OR DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION.
   (A)   A public official shall not use or disclose any information gained in the course of or by reason of his or her official position in any way that violates his or her fiduciary duty to the City of Fergus Falls or the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act.
   (B)   A current or former public official shall not use or disclose privileged, nonpublic, confidential, private or proprietary information gained by reason of being a public official in any way that could result in financial gain for the public official, or for their spouse, domestic partner, or dependents or for a person in a committed relationship with the public official, or for any associated business or organization that the public official is either an employee of or a volunteer for.
