307.18 RESTRICTED AND PROHIBITED PARKING AREAS.
   No on street parking shall be permitted in the Town of Fayetteville, except as hereinafter provided and all on street parking shall be limited to two (2) hours between 7:00 o’clock a.m. and 5:00 o’clock p.m., except as hereinafter provided: (Passed 11-3-22.)
   (a)   Parking from Keller Avenue to Rotan Street on Court Street shall be permitted on both sides of Court Street, with a handicap parking space located as the last parking space on the west side of Court Street before the intersection of Court Street with Maple Avenue and the next parking space shall be limited to fifteen (15) minute parking. The fifth (5th) parking space from the intersection of Maple Avenue and North Court Street, on the eastern side of North Court Street, shall be limited to fifteen (15) minute parking. Except there shall be no parking on the west side of Court Street from Daniel Street to Wiseman Avenue.
   (b)   Parking on the north side of Keller Avenue from its intersection with Court Street for a total of six adjoining parking spaces.
   (c)   Parking on the east side of Rotan Street from its intersection with Court Street to the end of the existing concrete walk.
   (d)   Parking on the south side of Wiseman Avenue from the east side of Court Street to Church Street for three (3) parking spaces nearest the intersection of Wiseman Avenue and Court Street with the furthest parking space therefrom being designated for handicapped parking.
   (e)   Parking from Court Street to Church Street on the southern side of Maple Avenue with the western most parking space being limited to fifteen (15) minutes.
   (f)   Parking from High Street on the southern side of Maple Avenue for eight (8) adjoining parking spaces.
   (g)   Parking on Maple Avenue for three (3) fifteen (15) minute parking spaces in front of the United States Post Office, the southern most parking space shall be designated for handicapped parking.   
   (h)   Parking from Fayette Avenue toward Maple Avenue on the east side of Ankrom Street to the parking lot for the Fayetteville Baptist Church and three parking spaces from said parking lot toward Maple Avenue, one of which shall be designated for handicapped parking.
   (i)   Parking for five (5) parking spaces from the intersection of the east side of Ankrom Street and the south side of Maple Avenue, two (2) located closest to the handicap entrance to the Fayetteville Baptist Church shall be designated for handicapped parking.
   (j)   There shall be a fifty-eight (58) foot loading zone located on the east side of Court Street adjoining the intersection of Court Street and Maple Avenue.
   (k)   Parking for two (2) parking spaces on the east side of Church Street between Wiseman Avenue and the Fayetteville Police Department driveway and parking lot.

   (l)   Parking shall be prohibited on the west side of High Street but shall be permitted on the east side of High Street from the intersection of Wiseman Street and High Street toward U.S. Rt. 19. (Passed 10-7-21.)
   (m)   Parking on Wiseman Street from Court Street to High Street on the north side of Wiseman Street shall be permitted for united Methodist Church services or special United Methodist Church events (weddings, funerals, dinners, food pantry, etc.).
   (n)   In all cases where parking is permitted parking shall not be closer to the intersection than twenty-five (25) feet, except it shall be 30 feet at the intersection of Court Street and Maple Avenue, forty-three feet on High Street in front of the United Methodist Church.
   (o)   No parking spaces shall be located in a manner that would block driveways, or private parking. (Ord. 2017-1. Passed 2-2-17.)
   (p)   The first parking space currently on the north side of South Court Street and north of Fayette Avenue shall be removed and shall be designated as “no parking”.

   (q)   Parking on Wiseman Street from the intersection of High Street toward the intersection of Wiseman Street and Reynolds Street for a distance of 184 feet.
