(a) The Recorder shall have charge of and preserve all Town records the custody of which is not assigned to another Town officer, and he shall have authority to attest and affix the Town seal to all Town records in all cases which require such action.
(b) He shall have such other powers and perform such other duties as prescribed by the Codified Ordinances and other ordinances and resolutions of Council, and as prescribed by State law for Recorders generally.
