Any individual who has any past due outstanding debt or financial obligation owed to the Town of Fayetteville shall hereby be disqualified from serving on any board, or commission of the Town of Fayetteville. Provided, if the individual brings the past due balance of the outstanding debt or financial obligation current by paying the past due balance, they then shall be permitted to serve on the respective board or commission upon proper approval of the Town Council.
