After receipt of the notice hereinabove required, each violation of this Article shall constitute a misdemeanor offense for which a citation may be issued, and whoever is convicted thereof shall be fined not more that five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty (30) days, or both. Each day, after having received the notice hereinbefore required and exclusive of the day on which such notice is received, on which the owner, occupant or person in charge or in possession of such premises fails to comply with the notice, in violation of this Article, shall constitute a separate offense hereunder and be separately punishable in accordance herewith. This penalty shall be cumulative in nature and does not exclude any other remedy provided herein or by such other ordinance, statute or regulation.
