Whoever is convicted of violating this article shall forfeit to the City any dangerous or deadly weapon involved in or constituting such violation. Every police officer, upon making any arrest and taking a weapon used in a violation of this article, shall deliver the same to the Police Judge of the City to be held by him until the final determination of the prosecution for such offense, and upon a finding of guilt is shall then be the duty of the Police Judge to deliver such weapon forthwith to the Chief of Police of the City, who shall make proper disposition of the same by destruction or otherwise.
