In the event of the temporary absence of the Municipal Judge, the Mayor shall serve as Acting Municipal Judge or shall appoint a person with the same qualifications required of the Municipal Judge, to serve as Acting Municipal Judge during such absence. If the Mayor is unable to serve as Acting Municipal Judge in the event of the temporary absence of the Municipal Judge or shall not have so appointed an Acting Municipal Judge, the Recorder shall serve as Acting Municipal Judge or shall appoint a person with the same qualifications required of the Municipal Judge, to serve as Acting Municipal Judge, during such absence.
