(a) The Commission shall be composed of five (5) members who shall be appointed by the Mayor and approved by Town Council
(b) Members shall be appointed for terms as follows: One (1) Member for a term of one (1) year, two members for a term of two (2) years and two (2) members for a term of three (3) years. No member shall serve more than two (2) consecutive full terms. Thereafter, all appointments shall be for a term of three (3) years. Members so appointed shall have their respective term start on the fifteenth (15th) day of September next succeeding their appointment. Provided, however, that the term for any member of Town Council appointed to the Commission shall continue during his or her term and until his or her successors have been duly appointed and qualified. Likewise, the term of any other appointed members of the Commission shall serve until his or her successor has been duly appointed and qualified.
(c) Vacancies shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term.
(d) Members of the Commission shall be reimbursed by the Town of Fayetteville for their expenses incurred in connection with the performance of their duties.
(e) Any member who fails to attend more than two (2) regularly scheduled meetings of the Commission may be removed by the Mayor and a new member appointed for the unexpired term of the member who was removed.
(f) The Council may appropriate such funds as it deems appropriate to finance activities of the Commission.
