The Commission shall authorize all expenditures except as herein otherwise provided, and any expenditure or contract involving any expenditure in excess of the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00) shall be first reported to and approved by Council. The Commission shall keep true, complete and accurate records of all sales and interments and other matters pertaining to their duties, and of their financial transactions as herein provided for. The Commission shall conduct all of its business and financial transactions in the name of the “Huse Memorial Park Commission”, and shall in no event obligate or attempt to obligate, pledge or attempt to pledge the credit of the Town nor shall the Town or any of its funds or revenues be liable for any debts, obligation or liabilities of the Commission of its agents, servants or employees, or of the trustees as herein provided for. The Commission and each member thereof is hereby prohibited from incurring any debt or obligation in excess of current resources or entering into any contract or lease for more than one year without the prior approval of Council.
