The Town Council may appoint at the recommendation of the Mayor or any member of Council, an individual who has served on a Commission, Committee or Board of the Town with distinction and dedication and has had to be replaced on that Commission, Committee or Board as a result of the term limit on that position. In making such appointment the Council shall consider the number of years of service to the Town on the Commission, Committee or Board, the person’s experience and knowledge of the matters handled by the Commission, Committee or Board and the importance of that experience and knowledge to the Commission, Committee or Board.
