2.30.030: DISPOSAL OR SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY:
   A.   If the City Council determines that an item of personal property has become surplus, obsolete or excess, the City Council may then authorize the sale of such item and then proceed to sell the same by public auction, public advertisement, or any other method deemed appropriate by the City Council on terms and conditions deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
   B.   Surplus, obsolete, or excess personal property which is unsalable because of obsolescence, wear and tear, or other reasons may be dismantled, if necessary, and sold as scrap or disposed of in an appropriate manner.
   C.   If the property is deemed to not have any resale value, it shall be disposed of by the City in a manner deemed to be in the best interest of the public and approved by the City Council.
   D.   For items offered for sale by public auction, public advertisement, or any other method, the City may refuse any or all bids. (Ord. 13-08)
