16.16.040: PRELIMINARY PLAN REQUIREMENTS:
   A.   The preliminary plan shall be drawn to a scale not smaller than one hundred feet (100') to the inch, and shall show:
      1.   The proposed name of the subdivision, which must be distinct from any subdivision name on a plat recorded in the county recorder’s office;
      2.   The boundaries, course, and dimensions of all parcels;
      3.   The lot or unit reference; block or building reference; street or site address; street name or coordinate address; acreage or square footage for all parcels, units, or lots; and length and width of the blocks and lots intended for sale;
      4.   Its location as forming a part of a larger tract or parcel, where the plat submitted covers only a part of the subdivider’s tract or only a part of a larger vacant area. In such case, a sketch of the prospective future street system of the unplatted parts, shall be submitted, and the street system of the part submitted shall be considered in the light of adjustments and connections with the future street system of the larger area;
      5.   Sufficient information to locate accurately the property shown on the plan;
      6.   The names and addresses of the subdivider, the engineer or surveyor of the subdivision, and the owners of the land immediately adjoining the land to be subdivided;
      7.   Contour map at appropriate intervals as determined by the planning commission;
      8.   The boundary lines of the tract to be subdivided;
      9.   The location, widths and other dimensions of all existing or platted streets and other important features such as railroad lines, watercourses, exceptional topography, and buildings within or immediately adjacent to the tract to be subdivided;
      10.   Existing sanitary sewers, storm drains, water supply mains, and culverts within the tract and within five hundred feet (500') thereof;
      11.   Any other known and unrecorded water conveyance facility located, entirely or partially, within the plat;
      12.   Every existing right-of-way and recorded easement located within the plat for underground, water, and utility facilities;
      13.   The locations, widths and other dimensions of proposed public streets, private streets, alleys, utility easements, parks, other open spaces and lots, with proper labelling of spaces to be dedicated to the public, or designated as private streets;
      14.   North point, scale and date.
   B.   Plans or written statements regarding the proposed storm water drainage facilities and other proposed improvements, such as planting and parks, and any grading of individual lots. (Ord. 2024-06: Ord. 89-003 § 5(D))
