A. Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated section 15A-2-103, Farr West City hereby adopts the following building standards to govern all construction performed in Farr West City:
1. The International Building Code (IBC), promulgated by the International Code Council, and amended and adopted by the Utah State Legislature, the International Residential Code (IRC) promulgated by the International Code Council, and amended and adopted by the Utah State Legislature;
2. The National Electrical Code (NEC) promulgated by the National Fire Protection Association, and amended and adopted by the Utah State Legislature;
3. The International Plumbing Code (IPC) promulgated by the International Code Council and amended and adopted by the Utah State Legislature;
4. The International Mechanical Code (IMC) as amended and adopted by the Utah State Legislature;
5. The International Fuel Gas Code as amended and adopted by the Utah State Legislature;
6. The International Energy Conservation Code as amended and adopted by the Utah State Legislature;
7. The International Existing Building Code as amended and adopted by the Utah State Legislature;
8. The National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act (HUD Code) as promulgated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and published in the Federal Register as set forth in 24 CFR parts 3280 and 3282; and
9. The 1994 edition of NCSBCS A225.1 manufactured home installations promulgated by the National Conference of States on Building Codes and Standards (NCSBCS).
B. Manufactured homes must meet the standards of and be certified under the National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974 or latest amendment (HUD Code) and must prominently display an insignia approved by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and must not have been altered in violation of such codes.
