13.08.010: REGULATIONS:
   A.   Secondary Water Supply: Any and all building lots for the purpose of a family dwelling shall have a means of secondary water for the purpose of irrigation of lawns, shrubs, gardens, agricultural products, etc. The secondary water supply must be separate from any culinary water supply and approved by the city planning commission.
   B.   Subdivisions:
      1.   A subdivider shall make available to each lot in the subdivision a pressurized secondary water supply which must be approved by the city engineer. Each lot must have a minimum of seventy (70) pounds of water pressure in the service lines. The subdivider shall install water mains and service lines or laterals from such mains to each lot within the subdivision prior to the installation of road base, surfacing, curb and gutters, and sidewalks.
      2.   The subdivider must include in the construction plans a drawing for secondary water which will show:
         a.   Scale (not specified);
         b.   Size and location of water mains and valves;
         c.   Type of pipe;
         d.   Minimum cover. (Ord. 87-004)
