A. The provisions of title 41 entitled, "Motor Vehicles", as set forth in the "Utah criminal and traffic code", 1998 edition, and subsequent editions, as compiled, prepared and published in book form by the Utah department of public safety, are approved and adopted as the traffic code for Farr West City.
B. Whenever the context so indicates or requires, the name of Farr West City or any of its agencies or offices shall be used in place of any state agencies or offices used in the "Utah criminal and traffic code", 1998 edition, to the extent necessary to implement the intent of adopting the traffic code as referred to herein. Those provisions of Utah Code Annotated title 41, as amended, which are reserved exclusively to the state of Utah, counties of the state of Utah or cities of the first or second class of the state of Utah are not adopted. Only those provisions which come within the jurisdiction of cities of the third class or the jurisdiction of the justice court of Farr West City are adopted and incorporated by reference. All general definitions and general provisions, which are not contrary to other parts of this chapter, are adopted and incorporated by reference. (Ord. 98-15 § 2)
