10.04.010: DEFINITIONS:
As used in this chapter, the following terms are defined in this section:
   HIGHWAY OR STREET: The entire width between property lines of every way or place of whatever nature when any part of it is open to the public, as a matter of right, for purposes of vehicular traffic.
   MOTOR VEHICLE: A self-propelled vehicle intended primarily for use and operation on the highways.
   OFFICIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES: All signs, signals, markings and devices not inconsistent with this chapter placed or erected by authority of a public body or official having jurisdiction, for the purpose of regulating, warning or guiding traffic.
   OPERATE: To drive or to be in actual physical control of a vehicle.
   URBAN DISTRICT: The territory contiguous to and including any street, in which structures devoted to business, industry, or dwelling houses are situated at intervals of one hundred feet (100') or less, for a distance of a quarter of a mile or more.
   VEHICLE: Includes any motor vehicle, trailer, semitrailer, off highway vehicle, watercraft, manufactured home, and mobile home. (Ord. 98-15 § 2)
