6.08.020: PURPOSE AND INTENT:
To establish the standards and criteria by which livestock may be kept within Farr West City. The city recognizes that livestock is associated with certain noises, sights, and smells. However, the city also recognizes the importance of maintaining its farming heritage consisting of subsistence farming and commercial agricultural production and the traditional values associated with that heritage. It is with this purpose, to preserve the farming heritage of the community while protecting the rights of the property owners and residents, that this chapter is enacted. (Ord. 11-04)
