(A) Payment of outstanding/delinquent bill.
(1) At such time that any individual shall request reinstatement of water utility services for any address within the town, the Town Clerk-Treasurer shall determine whether there is any outstanding or delinquent water bill for such address or residence.
(2) In the event that the Town Clerk-Treasurer determines that there is a delinquent water bill for prior water utility services rendered at such address or residence, any prior outstanding and/or delinquent water bill shall be paid prior to the time that water utility service may be reconnected at such address.
(B) Reconnection fee. Pursuant to Res. 2005-10, a reconnect fee of $35 shall be assessed against any user which has his or her water service discontinued due to delinquent payment for water service provided by the town. Said fee must be paid in full prior to the time that the water service will be returned to said resident.
