§ 33.007 REIMBURSEMENT FOR DAMAGE DURING SNOW REMOVAL BY TOWN.
   (A)   (1)   The Clerk-Treasurer of the town is authorized to reimburse a resident of the town for damages caused by town employees during the removal of snow in an amount up to $50, provided the resident provides:
         (a)   Proof of the damage caused; and
         (b)   A receipt for materials purchased for the repair or replacement of the property.
      (2)   The Clerk-Treasurer shall request that the Town Marshal verify the claim prior to the reimbursement of the resident.
   (B)   Any claim requesting reimbursement for damages caused during snow removal in an amount exceeding $50 shall not be paid unless approved by the Town Council at an open meeting.
