§ 91.048 RABIES AND QUARANTINE.
   (A)   Any animal found to be rabid must be held and quarantined immediately for two weeks of observation.
   (B)   The animal owner is responsible for reimbursing the town $10 per day and any other veterinarian expenses incurred while under the observation period.
   (C)   Should the Town Marshal or Animal Control Officer deem an animal to be vicious and a threat to the people of the town at the end of the two-week period, the animal owner shall be responsible for euthanizing the animal.
