Upon issuance of a fire hydrant water use permit and payment of all required fees and deposits, the permit holder shall obtain a meter and other required equipment from the public works department necessary to obtain and meter the water drawn from the hydrant in accordance with the permit. A deposit shall be required for the use of the meter and other equipment provided by the city in an amount set forth in the city fee schedule in order to ensure return of the meter and equipment in good condition. The meter number and reading shall be noted on the permit at the time of issuance. (Ord. 1996-43, 11-20-1996)
