9-1-210: ISSUANCE OF PERMIT:
The water superintendent shall review all applications for fire hydrant water use permits and may issue or deny such applications based upon consideration of the effect of the proposed use, the location of the hydrant, the availability of water from the system, assurance that the use of the hydrant(s) will not adversely affect delivery of water to existing connections to the city water system, and compliance with all conditions and requirements of sections 9-1-180 through 9-1-300 of this chapter. Permit terms may not exceed thirty (30) days. Permits shall be valid only for the applicant for whom it was issued and only for the location and use for which it was issued and shall not be assignable or transferable. (Ord. 1996-43, 11-20-1996)
