The provisions of this chapter are enacted pursuant to the authority set forth in Utah Code Annotated sections 10-8-42, as amended, and 10-8-84, as amended, and applicable provisions of the Utah alcoholic beverage control act, as set forth in Utah Code Annotated section 32B-1-101 et seq., as amended. The provisions and regulations set forth in this chapter are an exercise of the police powers of the city for the protection of the public health, safety, welfare and morals. (Ord. 2014-38, 12-2-2014)
