6-1-160: CLOSURE OF BUSINESS:
A business must notify the city in writing if they are closing. The notice should specify the date of closure and must be filed with the city within thirty (30) days of closure. If a business does not notify the city of closure and would like to reopen within one year of their last license expiration date, they must pay any past due fees and penalties. If a business has not notified the city of closure and applies for a new business license at the same address, providing the same services, within one year of their license expiration date, then the application will be considered a renewal and all past due fees and penalties must be paid.
