All business licenses, except solicitor licenses, requested home business, and temporary businesses shall expire each year on December 31. License periods for new businesses shall begin the date the application is approved and run until December 31 of the year of application. One-half (1/2) of the annual fee shall be payable for all licenses issued by the city after June 30 of each year. Business which apply for a license during the month of December, upon approval, shall be granted a license that is active until the end of the following calendar year. (Ord. 2014-38, 12-2-2014; amd.
