The purpose of this chapter is to provide advisory guidelines to assist the city in identifying and reviewing actions of the city which may involve the physical taking or exaction of private real property that may involve constitutional taking issues in accordance with the advisory provisions of Utah Code Annotated section 63L-4-101 et seq., as amended. This chapter does not apply when the city formally exercises its power of eminent domain. (Ord. 2012-10, 3-20-2012)
