A written agenda for each regular meeting shall be prepared by the city manager or his or her designee and approved by the mayor or mayor pro tempore in the mayor's absence. Any member of the city council may request that one or more items be placed on the agenda; provided, the request is received by the agenda cutoff dates established by the city at the start of each year to ensure adequate preparation time for researching items and preparing staff reports. Each agenda shall provide reasonable specificity to notify the public as to the topics to be considered at the public meeting and topics discussed at the meeting shall comply with applicable provisions of Utah Code Annotated section 52-4-202, as amended.
