The city may establish and impose a civil penalty for various violations of city ordinances to the extent permitted by and in accordance with applicable provisions of state law, including, but not limited to, Utah Code Annotated sections 10-3-703 and 10-3-703.7, as amended, and 10-9a-803, as amended. In accordance with such provisions, the city has adopted a civil enforcement program, including civil penalties for code violations, as more particularly set forth in chapter 6 of this title.
