The city recorder should implement appropriate procedures to provide replacement pages and updates for official copies and electronic versions of this code. Any person having custody of an official copy of this code shall make every effort to maintain said code current as to the most recent ordinances passed and shall follow all instructions for immediate insertion of replacement pages. Copies of official code books, while in actual possession of officials and other interested persons, shall be and remain the property of the city and shall be returned to the office of the city recorder when directed to do so by the city.
