§ 150.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person who violates any provision of the state codes adopted in § 150.01 shall be subject to the following penalties:
      (1)   Violators of the State Building Code shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $1000 for each offense. (KRS 198B.990(1))
      (2)   Violators of the State Standards of Safety shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $1000, imprisonment for not more than 60 days, or both, for each offense. (KRS 227.990(1))
      (3)   Violators of the State Plumbing Code shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $1000, imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both, for each offense. (KRS 318.990)
   (B)   If any person builds or constructs, or attempts to build or construct any building or improvement in this city, for which a building permit is required by § 150.10 to be had, without first obtaining such permit, or if any person willfully violates the terms or conditions of any permit, he shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction therefor, be fined not less than $5 nor more than $100 for each offense.    (C)   Any person who violates any provision of §§ 150.20 through 150.23 or any provision of a lawful order, rule, or regulation made under the provisions of §§ 150.20 through 150.23, or who induces another to violate any provisions of §§ 150.20 through 150.23 or of any lawful order, rule, or regulation made thereunder, upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $1000, or imprisoned for not more than 60 days, or both. Each day such violations exist shall, in the discretion of the courts, be considered as a separate offense. (KRS 227.990(1))
   (D)   Any person, firm, or corporation, violating the provisions of §§ 150.30 through 150.33 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction in any court of competent jurisdiction, shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $250 or imprisoned for not more than 90 days, or both, so fined and imprisoned in the discretion of the court for each offense, and each day that said person, firm or corporation violates this subchapter, or any provision thereof may be deemed a separate offense.    (E)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no other penalty is provided shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $500 for each offense.
