§ 110.11 EXEMPTIONS.
   (A)   Any person or persons representing any firm or corporation who, by virtue of the federal or state Constitution or statutes, is exempt from paying a municipal occupational license shall, before commencing any activity, register with the City Clerk-Treasurer/Tax Collector or the Chief of Police, giving his name, address, social security number, employer's name, employer's address, and business activity which he intends to follow in the city.
   (B)   (1)   Nothing in this chapter shall apply to any person, firm, corporation, or partnership operating a vehicle or vehicles within the city and classified as a common carrier by the state.
      (2)   The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to any business, occupation, or profession which is exempt from municipal licensing and/or license taxes pursuant to state or federal law.
