§ 72.13 TWO-HOUR FREE PARKING.
   (A)   In all areas of the business district of the city, where signs have been installed indicating two-hour parking, any vehicle may lawfully be parked for a period of time not exceeding two hours without charge, provided the vehicle is properly parked within the lines painted on the curb or street indicating a parking space.
   (B)   Vehicles parked in excess of two hours, or across parking space lines, in violation of this section, shall be subject to a penalty of $2 for each such violation, payable at the office of the City Clerk-Treasurer/Tax Collector within three working days. Any violator who fails to pay the penalty within three working days may, in the discretion of the Chief of Police, be cited to the District Court for violation of this section.
   (C)   Any vehicle cited for parking in violation of this section in excess of three times during any calendar year may, at the discretion of the Chief of Police, be towed away at the owner’s expense.
