Reconnection of service after discontinuance for nonpayment of bills shall be made after payment of current and past due charges, and posting a deposit pursuant to § 50.25(F)(4). Reconnection of service after discontinuance of service for any other reason, such as unsafe facilities, water waste, fraud, abuse, or noncompliance with any of the policies, rules, and regulations will only be made after the irregularity has been corrected and the Water Department has been assured that the irregularity will not reoccur. The reconnection charges shall be made as established by resolution of the Council, plus any other charges or costs due or past due that the Water Department may have incurred to correct the irregularity.
