(A) (1) The purpose of the Building and Safety Committee shall be to advise the City Council regarding matters responsible for preventing accidents and injuries.
(2) Our management provides direction and full support of all safety procedures, job training, and hazard elimination practices and the following tasks:
(a) Review and make recommendations on safety issues;
(b) Advise repairs, safety hazards, and injury prevention practices;
(c) Advise on city utility safety procedures; and
(d) Provide advice on safety and risk management policy recommendations.
(B) In addition, the Committee may advise the Council on any matter upon which the Council requests guidance.
