§ 31.15 MAYOR; DUTIES.
   The Mayor shall preside at all meetings of the City Council but shall have no vote except in case of a tie. The Mayor shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed by laws and ordinances and ensure that such laws and ordinances are faithfully executed, and shall have the power to veto any part or item of an ordinance or resolution appropriating money.
