§ 153.09 COST ASSESSED.
   If the owner or occupant of any dwelling house, building, business establishment fronting on a street or avenue within the city shall fail, refuse or neglect to place the number, or replace the number, when necessary, the city code enforcement official may cause a notice to be served by registered mail on the owner or occupant at the owner or occupant’s last known address, ordering the appropriate correction. If after ten days following service by the code enforcement official the owner or occupant of noncompliant property within the city continues to fail, neglects or refuses to place numbers on a building as required by this article, the city may cause the numbers to be installed, and the owner will be billed for the cost of the numbers and for the cost of installation.
