§ 51.18 BULK POTABLE WATER.
   (A)   Subject to the provisions and restrictions of this chapter, any individual, company, corporation, or entity who wishes to obtain bulk water from the City of Faith must first obtain written authorization from the City Finance Officer or designee by first completing an application provided by the city.
   (B)   Any individual, company, corporation, or entity who wishes to obtain bulk water from the City of Faith must comply with cross-contamination and backflow requirements.
   (C)   Bulk potable water will only be available at designated hydrant location(s) determined by the City of Faith.
   (D)   Bulk potable water will be metered by city issued meters only.
   (E)   Bulk potable water may be used either inside or outside the corporate city limits.
   (F)   Bulk potable water is only permitted to be sold to:
      (1)   An individual purchaser for his/her household use or the household use of his/her immediate family;
      (2)   An individual, a family farm, or a family farm corporation purchaser (SDCL Chpt. 47-9A) for agricultural and farming/ranching purposes on such purchaser’s agricultural land;
      (3)   Licensed applicators (SDCL Chpt. 38-21) or licensed aerial applicators (as defined in ARSD 70:02:02);
      (4)   Licensed well drillers (SDCL Title 46);
      (5)   Licensed contractors for purposes of the installation or maintenance of telecommunications or electric transmission lines;
      (6)   Fire protection.
