§ 33.25 APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS.
   (A)   In general, all members shall be appointed with tenure of office secure. Appointment of new firefighters into the Fire Department shall be made with the object of improving the operation, efficiency and general excellence of manpower. Application of new firefighters shall be made, in writing, to the Fire Department.
   (B)   The minimum age of applicants for the Fire Department is 19 years of age and the maximum age of applicants for the Fire Department shall be determined by the Fire Department.
   (C)   Members shall reside within the geographic area for which the Fire Department is the principal party responsible for firefighting.
