(A) The town is divided into four zoning districts as shown on the official zoning map which, together with all contents on the map, is hereby adopted and declared to be a part of this chapter.
(B) The following apply to the official zoning map.
(1) Map certificate.
(a) The official zoning map shall be displayed in the office of the Town Hall and shall bear a certificate with the signature of the Town Mayor, certification of the Town Clerk and the date of adoption of this chapter.
(b) If any changes to the map are made by amendment of this chapter, such changes shall be made to the official zoning map and signed and certified.
(2) Map replacement. In the event that the official zoning map becomes damaged, lost or difficult to read or interpret for any reason, a new official zoning map shall be prepared and approved by the Town Council, signed by the Town Mayor, and certified as the official zoning map by the Town Clerk.
(3) Map copies. Any copy of the official zoning map distributed to and/or purchased by the general public shall not be official for any purpose unless certified and, if so certified, shall be official only as of the date of said certification.
